Belgian waffles



  • 100 g Butter 
  • 125g plain flour 
  • 1 tsp sugar 
  • 1 Pkg. Vanilla sugar 
  • 250 ml milk 
  • 4 egg yolks 
  • 4 egg clear 

First, melt the butter and leave to cool. 

Separate eggs and beat a stiff snow from the egg clear. Put the snow in the fridge. 

Mix the flour with the sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt. 

Add the butter, yolk and milk and stir in with the whisk. Now lift the snow loosely under the dough. 

Preheat waffle iron. 

Maybe brush with a little margarine before each bake. Pill 3-4 tabs of dough into the waffle iron per waffle. Bake waffles until golden brown. Dust waffles with powder sugar as desired, garnish with fresh fruit, decorate with whipped cream and chocolate.
